MISSION: What does the CCA set out to do?

To develop a lifelong appreciation for theatre and performance arts.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: By the time the students leave the CCA, what characteristics do they exhibit?

1. To display the desired values, socio-emotional competencies and emerging 21^st century competencies.

2. To effectively articulate knowledge of CCA content, skills and activities.

3. To plan and organise events, lead and mentor others effectively.

CCA-specific skills they can perform

1. Conceptualise and produce video/live productions for school events.

2. Voice projection and movement techniques related to Drama.

3. Characterisation and blocking related to productions.

CCA-specific knowledge they will acquire

1. Spatial awareness (How to maximise the space they have with intention and meaning).

2. Behind the scenes (Lights and sounds).

3. Improvisation.

CCA-specific attitudes they will form

1. Confidence and pride in their work.

2. Timeliness and responsibility to memorise scripts and edit videos.

3. Teamwork, enthusiasm and discipline to participate in all activities
