Fostering Unity, Instilling Passion, Building Character.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: By the time the students leave the CCA, what characteristics do they exhibit?

1. Exposure: Students can appreciate a wide range of musical genres and share it with like-minded peers.

2. Experience: Passionate members who contribute actively to the success of the band.

3. Self-directed and disciplined learners.

4. Excellence:  Foster team spirit.

LEARNING INDICATORS: How do we know our students have learnt?

1. Technical competence in one instrument.

   • Learn how to play an instrument as an avenue self-expression.

   • Experience a shared love for music with like-minded peers.

2. Effectively read music notes/scores.

   • Play songs of different musical genres and different levels of difficulty.

3. Perform as a Band (Experience)

   • Acquire experience in stage performance.

   • Deepen understanding of team collaboration.

   • Expose to a myriad leadership opportunities.

1. How to play an instrument
